We did not start writing code because we liked code. We started because CAD documentation was eating our lives. Every tool we build comes from real frustration, not a product roadmap.
Geometry Is the Hard Part
We work in computational geometry, applied mathematics, and CAD internals. The kind of problems most software teams avoid. We think there is still massive room for innovation in conventional engineering software.

Origin Story

Before cadop.io became a company, it was one engineer's frustration, years of manually documenting CAD assemblies, knowing there had to be a better way.

2016

Writing Code to Fight Tedium

Built the first serious automation scripts, dynamically generating technical drawings and analysis reports from CAD models. What used to take days now took minutes.

2017

Going Deep on Geometry

Dove into computational geometry: coordinate system transformations, view projections, and mesh processing. Learned that the math behind CAD is beautiful, unforgiving, and massively underserved by modern tooling.

2024

From Scripts to Systems

Built cloud-connected assembly analysis algorithms via .NET and CATIA, detecting tree structures, extracting BOM parameters, and generating images for any part or assembly automatically.

2025

cadop.io Takes Shape

A decade of accumulated knowledge crystallized into one clear idea: a cloud-first platform that turns a CAD file into complete, living documentation. Development began in June.

2026

Early Access, Built to Ship

cadop.io opens to early adopters. Not a prototype or a demo, a production platform built on real-world experience. Every feature exists because we spent years needing it ourselves.
